worldslaziestbusker
Hello folks I don't read in the Steam Punk genre, but I do like the look of machines imagined in that realm. A need to make a gift in response to some carnivorous plants sent south for my children, a dig under my parents' house which unearthed my old stash of teenage builds, a half litre of Simple Green and a few hours playing with ideas and the spares box brought about this steam powered, lever controlled, fly by wire and cam, Meteor. Fun was had.
The Madhatter
I think it's safe enough to post in the sci-fi section ;) Cool idea! I don't see much steam punk about - especially here, but a couple of people have posted some really neat S.P stuff in the past and it's gone down well. Are you going to do any more SP subjects? Hope to see you posting more here. Plus, wouldn't mind a few more photos of this one! MH

MH Hi Madhatter The SP aesthetic fascinates me and I would like to try something with a fish-scale, overlapped boilerplate finish, but there's already plenty awaiting some time on the work bench before that idea gets an airing. Par429
Hey- Very cool concept. I too like the Steampunk aesthetic. Although I have not really built any SP plastic models (although I have a few in mind), I have built a few brass costume props for SP conventions. Some Examples: Keep it up, and let's see more Steampunk! Phil

worldslaziestbusker
Diesel punk project on the bench at the moment, included before completion here so locals can play "Name that component." Bonus points for kit brands. Edited October 8, 2013 by worldslaziestbusker
