Lenny
Hey guys i've seen the T-45 Goshawk in 1/72. Was it ever produced in 1/48? Edited September 19, 2007 by Lenny
Matt Roberts
Not as far as I know, the only two Hawks in 48th were the Primere one from the early 80's that was not much more than a desk model and the Airfix Hawks...shudder. I have seen both built up very nice but as an average kitbuilder neither impressed me. As for a T-45 that is supposed to be alot of minor differances to the airframe as well as the obvious ones (landing gear, hook) and I am not sure I have even seen a built up conversion of one at a show, though I am probably wrong. Give 'em time someone will do a family series of Hawks one day, they are just too widely used to be ignored forever. Matt

Lenny
Wow! It's beautiful. It's a little bit more than what I wanted to pay.
David Walker
3rd Wire were planning to do a conversion for a T-45 but I'm not sure where that stands right now. I'd sure like to be able to build one. Edited September 19, 2007 by David Walker
PBoilermaker
3rd Wire were planning to do a conversion for a T-45 but I'm not sure where that stands right now. I'd sure like to be able to build one. I know that sharkmouths on some T-34C's mean that particular aircraft "ate dirt" at some point (gear up landing or accident). I wonder if shark mouths on T-45's mean the same thing?
Midnight Storm
I caught one of these guys not to long ago. I only wish I had taken more photos once it was on the ground. It's the only one I have even seen. I didn't get into position in time to grab a good photo. Oh well. Maybe I'll try that kit out sometime. Neat little guy that wouldn't take up to make shelf space!
Aggressor Supporter
One of these days, I'd like to have a 1/48 Hawk/Goshawk in camo gray colors, like an operation light attack plane. One of these days.....
Midnight Storm
Are there decals for that tiger scheme?
habu2
[/b] [/color] That Boeing kit is just a re-pop of the McDonnell Douglas kit, which was in turn based on the original BAe molds. And look at that terrible seam on the bottom of the fuselage between the intakes!
David Walker
Are there decals for that tiger scheme? No, I don't believe so. First we need the kit, then hopefully someone will do decals.
Midnight Storm
The hundred dollar resin kit doesn't count? ;)
