Emvar
Been clearing the bench of started projects....... this is pretty much Number 2 finish this year, Started ages ago. Still have to do anti Collision lights and some minor touch ups. Kit bashed The Hase X-29 with the nose from the AMT F-5B Decals are Home drawn for the Stripes and some decals from the spares box. Also used the Cutting edge sheet for the Nasa Logos. Paints used are from the local Automotive store from a rattle can. What you don't see is the Cockpit with Side stick Seats from the X-29 kit . Added a centerline fuel tank some external stuff from the F-5B like chaff dispensers Scratched the Stall chute housing. The Nose Pitot is a needle. The Intake and exhaust covers are made from coloured electrical tape. Not a show stopper but was fun. I'll get more pics up when the camera is recharged. More pics in a later post..... Trojan Thunder
Very nice! I thought it looked different and realised it had a twin tub. Pays to read the thread title a bit more carefully!
Berkut
My biggest critique is that you put wings on wrong way. ... Pa-dum-tsssh. Nah, a nice aircraft. My only *real* critique is that i would like bigger pics.
Emvar
Finished, Bigger pics...... Thanks for the very kind remarks. I love this Hasegawa Kit and the F-5B kit is a gem. Together it made a great What if build. Another project cleared off the bench. Stay tuned for more this year. Emil
JackMan
What a cool concept! A twin-stick X-29. Who'd thunk? Well, done!

GreyGhost
That looks sharp as a Family Model ! Nice idea pulled off well ... Gregg
Jinxter13
Superb in both the build and the concept thinking...really cool!!!. It's too bad it was built purely as a "Technology Demonstrator", but then again supposedly so was the YF-17, and look what it became  . Emvar
Thanks guys, This was staring at me for quite the while. I was not sure of the end result as many ideas crossed my mind, one being in the newest F-16 Vista scheme. Figured The clean Nasa T-38 scheme would be most believable. I do have some spare parts available if anyone is interested. Emil
