Tamiya's 1:48 F-117 Nighthawk

I have officially learned something: It was a STUPID idea to even attempt this kit without Mr. Dissolved putty, Mr. Surfacer, or something. I tried to hunt some down, but nobody had any in stock, and I didn't feel like wating. Boy, do I feel like a doofus. Anyway, after spending the past 2 weeks filling this thing panel line by panel line with Squadron white (the only stuff readily available), I felt like throwing a party when I filled and sanded that last panel line.

I'm doing this one in-flight (the gear doors fit like a charm), and I'm 99.9% sure it'll be the Gray Dragon. I haven't decided whether it'll be the "regular" Gray Dragon, or T H I S one, but it'll most likely be gray. If I go with the "regular" Gray Dragon, I'm going to use the Revell decal sheet. This kit was second-hand with no decals. I didn't spend 10 lifetimes on the pit since the canopy will be closed, and I wasn't going for super-duper, 100% accuracy on the pilot, either.

I've already masked the canopy, and it'll be ready for paint in a couple of days. I see myself finishing this thing by the weekend. What I'd like to do with this thing is mount it on something clear (or something that doesn't ruin a picture) so I can take pictures of this thing with a backdrop that depicts a high altitude flight.
