FrereLeO
I want to make this diorama : http://rogerph2.perso.cegetel.net/divers/su25/SU25-3.JPG « Frogfoot » dissimulated in the desert by Iraqis during the first Gulf War. And the final touch, one figure :
FrereLeO
I used for the seat, a True Detail ref. because the original is too basic. I began to enlarge the headrest and I detailed it a little :
FrereLeO
The detail in the cockpit is inexistent so I add some cables, boxes, etc .
FrereLeO
The instruments on the instrument panel were made with photoetched parts of Reheat Model :
FrereLeO
The HUD was created because it didn’t exist in the box :

I hope Revell Monogram re releases that kit becuase that is definitely one jet I'd like to build one day. You better find the OEZ (KP) kit. Monogram is incorrect for the production Su-25. It represents a prototype Su-25. http://modelism.airforce.ru/reviews/ru/su-...vmono/index.htm FrereLeO, fantastic office! Great job!

Thanks for the information guys. The only thing holding me back from adding one to the stash is that it's listed as $40 at most sites I've checked, and that's typically much more expensive than most kits I buy. With RM re releasing some of their old century series kits, I can always hope they'd re release this one.
imwhoim01
The details are fantastic! One question. What materials did you use to create the HUD?
FrereLeO
Thanks everybody . One question. What materials did you use to create the HUD? Only plastic card. Just the lenses was made with a piece of aluminum foil
