Andy Mullen
Heres a project I have had in mind since Two Bobs released the VF-2 OIF Bounty Hunters. The aim is to produce a copy of this Navy photo taken by ARCer flynavy in Nov 2002. The first stage was to resize the 3D Models of the Cats to fullsize in the 3D world, set up a camera to the specs shown in the EXIF info. and then with the photo in the background, manoeuvre the two 3D models into position. The object of this exercise was to find out what the actual distances are between the Cats so I can eventually build and display them as shown in the photo. more renders Edited February 5, 2016 by Andy Mullen

flynavy
Wow first time ive seen this!! Ive been offline for a while and getting back into the grove! I love that photo i took and i hate it lol. The lighting was horrible! The photo op (for the Army Navy Game of course) was so important we had three other photo mates up on Vultures Row and i ended up getting the best quality shot (yes, the squadron guy beat out the ship's photo mates!)... The only prob with the fly-by was the Captain decided to position the ship so we were shooting into the sun... nice! lol
