Verlinden detailing set 1648 for F-15E

Recommended Posts

Hello people,

After finish my F6F-3 Hellcat from Hase, scale 1/48, I intend to make a F-15E Strike Eagle, with decals of Sadamm Hunter from Two Bobs.

Also, I'm considering to use the Verlinden up-date set for that kit, #1648.

My question is to ask to the experts if that set is correct for that aircraft or is better on the market?

Many thanks for your attention and time.

Best regards

no-one has answered I may as well give an opinion, if you want to do one on the ground with everything open it would be useful however if its just to upgrade looks I'd personally go for Eduard detail sets and resin bang seats as Verlinden stuff isn't so great usually. :worship: ......from personal experience........willing to be corrected.....

I used half of the set on my model and was happy. The starboard side avionics bay wouldnt fit cause it interfered with the Aires cockpit. If you stay with the kit cockpit, you can probably use the entire set. the gun bay is nice too.

Jerry,

Many thanks for you reply. Also, I think you will save my day. Please check your PMs.

For the cockpit... I will keep the pit who is in the kit. The only thing I will had, will be in resin. Maybe from Aires.

Best regards
