1/72 F-15 What-iffers

Recommended Posts

hey folks! i'm here today with some bit of restoration projects i did over the past month.

years ago, before i was hooked on 1/48, i attempted a f-15 eagles of the world GB using 1/72 kits. 2 were given by my cousin after he spilled thinner on them, and the rest were built as a teenager in eons past. well, with the 1/48 f-15gb now more accurate and impressive, i return to these gaggle of jets and wanted to make whif projects.

i decided to keep the Saudi single seater, Mt Fuji, Aggressor and decided to paint over the rather simple Israeli and inaccurate Singaporean..

firstly i took the former f-15SG kit, which is the hasegawa kit.

added tail things and masked off canopy

the next project focused on the israeli aircraft. i plucked all the cft pylons and donated them to the RSAF black knights 15sg. then puttied and sanded smooth the cfts. following that i took out the vertical fins and canted them, adding some placard struts for support and lots of puttying..
