Els
I would like to see your collections. I am sorry if this has been done recently but I did a search and I couldn't find any collections posted since 1997. For aircraft I build a just about anything but I mostly concentrate on Tiger Meet aircraft and Egg planes so that is what I will post. jimz66
Nice collection. I must be the only one who doesn't like the egg planes.
Cloggy
No, you're not the only one...I can't see the appeal of egg-planes whatsoever, but hey - each to their own. Meanwhile, here's some of my collection of tiger-meet models: AMT KC-135, (VM Decals). Arii 1/144 Phantom (hand-painted) ESCI 1/48 Mirage F1 (Model Alliance decals) Italeri 1/72 EF/18 Hornet (Aztec decals) Hasegawa 1/48 A-7H (home-made decals) Italeri 1/48 Mirage 2000C (Colorful Decals) Italeri 1/48 Tornado ECR (home-made decals) Edited December 2, 2010 by Cloggy
John Krukowski
Funny, I'm not an egg plane or a Tiger Meet fan, but I do enjoy looking at 'em when they're posted. Nice pictures, fellas! No predominant theme from me, just a bunch o'stuff, built from the mid-70's to present. A link to my Photobucket album...about 80 models, all are 1/48 unless otherwise noted, click any pictures of interest to enlarge. Els
Thanks for all the comments. Cloggy, You have some nice kits. Your tiger meet kits look great. I have a bunch of TM kits in the stash but the ones I really want to build are the KC-135s. I just don't know where to put them after building. I am glad to see yours built. I remember seeing pictures of the real 130s that you have modeled. I didn't think I would ever see one of them built. Your home made decals came out great. Do you sell them or are they just for your personal use? John, you have built a lot of nice models. There are also a lot of great aircraft pictures on there. Your Hero lighting her cig off the birthday candles made me laugh. Jimz66, cloggy, John, Thanks for posting. I don't think you are the only non egg plane fans on the site. I have noticed that they don't get a lot of love here. That is cool though, modelling is a big hobby and there is room for everyone. Els
Cloggy
Your home made decals came out great. Do you sell them or are they just for your personal use? They are purely for my own use on the necessary model, though I did sell one of the 1/144 Jordanian C-130 tail decal sets! Thanks for your kind comments, but to be honest my home-made decals are rather rough and ready - when they work and look reasonable, it's more by luck than judgment. The_Animal
1 built since 2005 As you can tell, scale modeling is NOT my forte. :( I need to get my @$$ in gear and finish that 1/48 Tomcat that's languishing on my shelf.
