Laurent
The kit isn't available but it seems to be in production. http://www.trumpeter...t&a=show&id=237 Assuming that the CAD model was used for the 4 views of the the painting guide and for the instruction sheet profile (*), then the shapes may not be bad at all. The only issue that strikes me is the opened auxiliary intakes (they should be shut when the engine aren't running). Appart from that, it's likely that it will be the best 1/72 MiG-29 for some time. *: look at the T-38 painting guide and instruction sheet... the shape issues of the actual kit are visible there Edited August 5, 2015 by Laurent
beingthehero
Well, best 1/72 Fulcrum kit until Zvezda finally releases theirs...in 2170 or whenever. "Zvezda Time" can be unpredictable. I feel obligated to pick up a kit. I imagine the panel lines and details will be more accurate than Italeri's, while much easier to build than Condor's.
Teeradej
Can't wait to get one! It looks like the wind shield eat into a fuselage at some degree which is OK to my eyes.
nicholassagan
Much excitement either way. And to think I just picked up another Airfix to scratch an itch :P
Laurent
It looks like the wind shield eat into a fuselage at some degree which is OK to my eyes. And no more weird louvered engine nozzles of the Italeri/ICM kits. And the kit may end up buyable too: preorder price is 21.95⏠at http://www.dersockelshop.de/ while the the HB Jaguar costs 27.50âŹ. Price is more reasonable.
White Wolf
I'm pretty excited for this, I've been waiting for a good MiG-29 for a long time!
Ryan Hothersall
Will be getting a couple of these. The modern day Hungarian decals look interesting.

kotey
Well, best 1/72 Fulcrum kit until Zvezda finally releases theirs...in 2170 or whenever. "Zvezda Time" can be unpredictable. It seems "Zvezda time" will be sooner, at my look it will be winter 2015-2016. Edited August 6, 2015 by kotey
Laurent
First Trump's 9.12, then six months after Zvezda's 9.13 then the SMT confrontation. 1/72 Fulcrum time

Alex Sidharta
Here's some... It's all the sprue I got from my friend. Some parts are for other Fulcrum variants... It's for other variant, I believe :
Laurent
Thanks Alex !
Alex Sidharta
Fittings are good overall Towbar : I feel that the cockpit area is a little bit "strange" in shape, so I compare it with GWH : Using Ken Duffey's method to check profiles : Now I leave that to the Fulcrum experts.... Serelle
Surface details are really great! Thanks for sharing Alex. Serelle

niki4703
Thanks a lot, Alex! Would it be too much to ask of you to show us a side view of the front fuselage to see if/ how the windscreen 'bites' into the fuselage (as opposed to the horizontal joining surface of all other 72nd scale kits so far...)? beingthehero
Wow, they actually included a tow bar? That's gotta suck for Armory, now we don't need to buy a resin kit for one.
Mizar
does it have the SMT refuelling probe with the parts that are meant for other version?
beingthehero
^ I'm interested in that too, because that means it'll be much easier to make a MiG-29N too. I just placed an order on Hobby Search. Think I'll (tentatively) make a Serbian Fulcrum out of this.
nicholassagan
Hero, what hobby search's link? I've only found them on Hobby Linc so far
Sebastijan
Trumpeter's mad riveter at work again?? That cockpit area indeed looks strange
