Murph
The Hasegawa kit has finer panel line detail, while the Itaeri kit has much better weapons, more accurate antennae and AIM-9 pylons, plus a cheaper price. The Italeri kit has some shape issues though on the centerline pylon (too squashed) and the ventral fin locations do not match each other; the port one sits over the engine fire access doors, while the starboard one doesn't. Personally I prefer the Hasegawa kit. As mentioned above there's quite a bit of detail items out there; in addition to what Mark mentioned Neomega offers a resin cockpit and seat, Pavla also offers a resin cockpit and seat (amazingly similar to Neomega's) and main landing gear wells. There's also a resin wing replacement for the Hasegawa kit with deployed flaps and slats. Regards, Murph
ranakoshgelam
Hasegawa is by far a better kit, Ive done both and currently doing a Hasegawa Jaguar T.2 kit with the Airwaves wings with open slats and Pavla resin seats. If you decide to get the Airwaves wings, be careful when you stick it to the fuselage, I used super glue, pushed it right on and there was a deep step from fuselage to wings from both the front and rear . Now for the last (god knows how long) ive been using super glue to build up the areas and blending it into the wing, and of course i never had even rescribed panel lines till this and now its looking good. shame recently i found super glue remover (wish i found that before blending it and rescribing :D ) everybody has done projects like this right sometime or another? also using the fuel tanks from aviation workshop and they are far better than the ones provided in the kit. you might also find the hasegawa kit, has lost its details of panel lines on the underside of both front and rear sections of the fuselage as myn did, think the plastic was removed from the mold far to early. good luck with yours and thought id just worn you incase you decide to go with the airwaves wings anybody know if the jaguar t4 ever had any weapons load layout whilst in raf service? or was it just for the purpose of training? icekj
Nice, thread. Where dones the Revell of Germany offering sit? Is it a rebox of the Hasegawa or Italeri? Thank you in advice. God Bless, Ken
Andre
Where dones the Revell of Germany offering sit? Is it a rebox of the Hasegawa or Italeri? It's a reboxed Italeri with a more comprehensive decal sheet, especially in the stencils department. Cheers, Andre

I didn't have the step, but there was a gap at the front and rear that I had to shim with sheet plastic. The leading edge tips of both wings (where it attaches to the fuselage) also broke off, so I have to replace those. you might also find the hasegawa kit, has lost its details of panel lines on the underside of both front and rear sections of the fuselage as myn did, think the plastic was removed from the mold far to early. It was the same way when the kit was issued back in the 80's. Regards, Murph Edited June 25, 2009 by Murph
