pollie
Great, I'll pick up the 1/72 sheet for sure! And look forward to the Pacific Hawkeye sheet! Any other US Navy / Marines sheets in the works?
cvrle
Can you tell us when the announced Foreign Hawkeyes sheet will be out? Thanks!
AnthonyWan
If you don't mind my questioning...the color on the sheet seems to be a little off. I especially noticed this on the big blue spiral for the radome, is this just done on the preview? The real aircraft seems to have much darker colors: http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Navy/...keye/1305678/M/ http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Navy/...keye/1174745/M/ -Awan
Kelly Quirk
The blue spiral in your first pic is for VAW-123, a different squadron. The colors for the second pic look spot on. MHaz
The blue spiral in your first pic is for VAW-123, a different squadron. The colors for the second pic look spot on. Kelly, Both aircraft in AWan's links are VAW-123, "The World Famous Screwtops." The first link is of a display aircraft, and it's not accurate to the actual paint job. We've been pondering doing this aircraft ourselves for our 2nd Hawkeye sheet, probably around the end of summer, if we do it. Mike Vagabond Decals

The light blue spiral that Anthony is questioning is not from VAW-123 though, it is from VAW-121, so it's not right to compare the colors to the VAW-123 pic that Anthony posted. Edit: Hmm, I'm starting to feel stupid.... I'm guessing VAW-121 never had the spiral on the dome? In that case, it would be the wrong color... Sorry if I caused any confusion! Bulldog 09
I just received my 72nd sheet yesterday. Let me start by saying that it is worth every penny you pay for it. The stencil sheet and marking choices are out standing. But I to noticed that the radome spiral for VAW-123 is to light. Dave Fassett
