Vesper
I'm going as all-out as as I can using the Monogram F-20 kit. This bird will be finished in RoCAF markings. Ignore the yellow package off to the side, that got left in the box. The "aftermarket" addition, swiped the radar nose out of a Monogram F-5E kit. I'm going to attempt to replace the duckbill nose on my kit. Ves
slick95
Wow, it looks like the model comes in quite large and complete sections in the box. SLICK
Vesper
Looks are deceiving my friend. Having attempted another one in a previous lifetime (disregard the facr that th entire rear had to be rebuilt to house a AL-31), I know where this bird likes to bite. Still, it was awfuly nice of Monogram to base it off their F-5 kits Ves
Aggressor Supporter
Yeah, the F-20! Watching with interest.
Vesper
Update: I got started on the cockpit painting, and the rear fuselage is now assenbled. I'm currently looking for a opened F404 nozzle, a few later model AIM-9s, AIM-120s and some rails to complete this baby. Ves :D
madmike
I know where this bird likes to bite. Oh yes, it does look nice in the box, but assembly puts that notion to rest. It does go together though and does look good once built! My F-20 Tigershark :P MikeJ Edited July 8, 2007 by madmike

Vesper
Ask and ye shall receive: Got started on painting the tub And I got the rear fuselage together, had to add some filler in a few spots. Now I'm wondering if I should do a rudderoctomy or not. Ves :)

Mark M.
I wouldn't think the F-20 could load AIM-120s... I can see what you mean by "duckbilled" -- and it is an apt description! Good call on using the other nosecone. Looking good so far.
