PavelS
at monday this week I startes applying camouoflage colors...I am not sure with how much these GSi H colours corresponds to real plane, but Zotz even future TB decal instruments and my other references talking about FS35237+ FS36152 on top and navy FS36440 on bottom. So I used Gsi H337 for lighter upper color and H68 for that darker one - according to my official Federal standard templates it is pretty accurate colours but the problem is - they just don´t have that greenish touch like FACH a/c´s allways has... ChernayaAkula
Wow! That looks really nice! Regarding the greenish hue, have you thought about using a filter? I believe the use of filters is more common with the armour guys. They use several spots of different colours on the completed, gloss-coated model. These spots are then blended with thinner, giving a translucent finish that alters the camo colours ever so slightly, but adding "life" to the overall finish. In your case, a mist of very thinly diluted green may give you the greenish hue you're after. I don't know whether that will work, but might be worth checking out. doctorpepper
hey- just a query. don't think the radome would be painted on the real bird - you might wanna check it out? it's probably a hard edged line at the panel line

Good idea, I don´t want to screw it up, so maybe I´ll try it on piece of plastic before. Maybe there is no problem - I don´t know if a pics on internet of real plane are all "white balanced"... As I said, Gunze colours are pretty matching to my FS references... Probably somebody who ever saw FaCH Vipers IRL can tell me more...
