Moose135
With a repaired nose, G-BOAD has returned to her home on the pier next to the USS Intrepid following renovations of the ship and museum exhibits. The Intrepid Museum, including the Concorde, will re-open to the public on Saturday, November 8. I got there too late to see the move up river, but here are a couple of shots of her on the pier. Cobrahistorian
Sweet! What happened to it? Some moron ran into it with a truck. Hey Moose, I thought they were building an enclosure to keep the Concorde inside? Jon Edited October 21, 2008 by Cobrahistorian

As far as I know, it is not going to be enclosed. As Jon said, she was hit by a delivery truck in early July while at Floyd Bennett Field, awaiting the Intrepid restoration. It knocked the nose cone off: Edited October 21, 2008 by Moose135

pbhawkin
I used to know a Australian Air Defence Guard (the guys that patrol the perimeter of airbases) who bent the tail of a F/A-18 Hornet with his little Suzuki minivan

Jay Chladek
Well, the truck driver only did in real life what so many of us have done to a few of our models when working on them.
Flankerman
I can remember a time when some New Yorkers were fighting hard to keep Concorde from ever landing in the city.... How times change...... :D Great to see her on show again... Ken
