Hello there!

So this is my first 32nd Tomcat build, i will more focus on painting job and weathering than on details...

Sweet start. I've got the same boxing and am thinking about getting it started this winter. I'll be using the Techniks pit set and NOT rescribing (I can't get the hang of it!).

I havn't decide what decals I'm dolng yet...

Are you using any kind of guide for your scribing? I can highly recommend Dymo Label Tape for that sort of thing. I havent scribed a model w/ it, but I have rivetted a model using Dymo, and it works amazingly well, and Im sure it would work great for scribing.

The pit, the scribing, the exhaust and the wheel well all looks very nice :coolio:

As for the scribing what sort of time frame is it taking, i want to do a big cat and have the revell one but all the aftermarket is for the tamiya one, exhaust and cockpit,

but i'd like to have the recessed panels lines but i'm a wee bit lazy and don't want to bite off more than i can chew  .

This is because i only have enough room for one big cat :santa:

hello sweaty!

rescribing sure take time!! i cant precisly tell you how much time i spent on it... and i'm not done with it!

I alternate scribing and the build itself... in this way it's less boring!

If you want to build a big cat without rescribing, the revell one is an option. But i find that it lacks of details... so i prefered the Tamiya.

But are you sure that the aftermarket you have got wont fit in the revell cat?

It could be interesting to do some tests...

bye!

Looking great. You know, if you want to do VF-211 - these markings might be worth doing...

Something I was messing around with over Christmas. Might go to print next week and be released in Feb/Mar...
