Julien (UK)
Does anyone know the correct colours for the F-2 Scheme used on the Japanese F-4EJ? Also what paint comapny makes them? Thanks Julien
Nev
When I did my Typhoon J I used the colours as suggested by Phil Vorvis in his F-4EJ article in the gallery Tamiya X-14 for the base (with just a drop of XF-18 to make it a little less Baby Blue) and a 50:50 mix of XF-18 and XF-8 for the darker blue. Thanks Julien The correct colors do not exist out-of-bottle for any company (except maybe Humbrol, not sure), you'll have to mix or go with near approximations either way. Cheers, he gives 2 humbrol in that article which look good enough for me. Julien
Gundylunch
Hi !! According the the Kaburaya book " Defenders of Nippon "the colours approximate to FS35183 bright blue which is available in the Xtracolour range and FS35164 dark blue grey which isn't available in any range !! so you will still need to mix that one !! Hope this helps !!
