Ken Middleton
really nice work! the area behind the cockpit, Bay 5, is most likely (probably) white, not blue/green, and the wheels should the C/D style Edited January 8, 2010 by Ken Middleton
Fishwelding
This is awesome. I like seeing this this kit built up right.
Albert Moore
This is awesome. I like seeing this this kit built up right. I agree. Anyone who can take an older Monogram kit like this and turn it into a jewel rates high in my book. I can't wait to see the end result. Cheers, Alby
FEDE
Uncle, Wayne S, Ken, and Albert Fishwelding thank everyone for comment. Uncle the package with the missiles and the tanks never arrived. ;) "Uncle el paquetito con los misiles y los tanques nunca llego, malditos bastardos del correo.." really nice work!the area behind the cockpit, Bay 5, is most likely (probably) white, not blue/green, and the wheels should the C/D style Ken, I'm no super expert of the Eagles, but I read that the planes after 1980 were white in the Bay 5, in this case their number is 78-0522, should not be green? Well maybe with the passage of time they were repainted. The wheels in this kit are wrong is true, but I do not have the correct. More progress soon Thanks to All!!! Gustavo Rocha
Hi Federico!! Your Eagle is looking great!! Now tell me something: does this kit have lowered or raised detail? I thought that Monogram's Eagles had raised panel lines... Keep up the good work!! Cheers, Gustavo.

This is going back a few years, maybe 8 years, If My brain is right, Murph had a friend at Kadena and I think their jets had white bays, for the time line your looking at. Of course this is all going off speculation that my brain knows what it is thinking about LOL. Asking Murph would be the best bet, It must of been him, I heard something from, because I don't know anyone from Kadena that I can recall of.
Ken Middleton
yeah, I am not 100% sure it would be white, but I am leaning towards it

kurnass77
FEDE, your Eagle looking very nice! :) What you used to detail the exhaust? I have done similar work on the exhaust of my RF-4C in 1 / 72 using aluminum foil of a cigarette packet and plasticard. [/img] [/img] Gianni
