TomTheTomcat
Hi guys, This is my Buckeye. Resin, vacuform, crispy decals and walkaround CD. I bought this kit, as I live in Europe from Hannants (good and swift service). Some first pix. Cheers - BoB Edited May 24, 2010 by TomTheTomcat

TomTheTomcat
Ok here we go again. First an example of not so crispy sprue. But don't worry, the plastic is soft and easy to mold/sand etc. And here some semi finished parts of the cockpit, just to get an idea. JasonB
Is it just me, or are the seats in the kit a bit on the "barca-lounger" side? They look too squat and wide to me when compared to this on pic I could find of the LS-1.
Huey Gunner
Where'd you get those clamps? I need to know!
TomTheTomcat
Hi Paul. I had to think because I have had them for many years already. They are great because you can aument the pressure and it holds it there. Then there is a release knob when needed. They are available here in Europe. If you want I can have a look for you. Cheers - BoB Where'd you get those clamps? I need to know!

Two Mikes
Looking great!! Just one question, are you sure you don't have the air intakes reversed? They look to be on the wrong side just based on the look of the opening and the panel lines. Just curious. Mike This is the best pic I could find looking around Edited March 2, 2010 by Two Mikes

TomTheTomcat
Glad I could help out. Easy enough to fix right?? There is nothing that cannot be done with good old polystyrene, resin and glue ! :D
TomTheTomcat
Looking great!! Just one question, are you sure you don't have the air intakes reversed? They look to be on the wrong side just based on the look of the opening and the panel lines. Just curious. Mike Hi Mike, Today I could check what you said. And the answer is negative. After breaking off the parts and putting them reversed they did not fit at all. Checking Foxtwo 's Buckeye I noticed that he put it the same way. But thanks anyway.
