foxtwo
Hi Guys, receive my box few days ago and decide to start it...... the idea was the first solo flight of a student pilot....so that's why there is a guy in the front seat ! things went good with the kit, no real problems of fitting, just need to be careful during the build and test fit all the pieces.....the only little things i would like to have is some more details in the cockpit; speaking of the instruments panels ( which are in plastic) and the side consoles, where you have to drill to add the switches ( thing i didn't make here)....but for the rest everything is great ! foxtwo
thanks Tim there are some more difficult areas, as the front wheel well...also i was working today over all the movable parts as flaps...you'll have to sand them pretty heavy from the inside of each parts, if not you'll have a too heavy back edge , but nothing overwhelming..... foxtwo
little up....wings are done.....and all the movable parts.... tail....got some troubles with it, plastic is very smooth and so after the fuselage was dry i found the tail totally wrapped...hopefully hair dryer made a good job.... a difficult area....with the air intakes...i use liquid plastic and finish the job with putty to get a clean job... also a difficult area.... gotta need some job there too.....near the exhausts.... the air intake...before the sanding job.... Two Mikes
Looking very nice Patrick. I am really looking forward to seeing it with paint. Which markings are you doing?? Just so everyone knows, the intakes and exhausts look to be the first two items we are going to come out with. Masters are progressing very nicely.

ST0RM
Excellent progress on your Tubby Two. Great work on the cockpit detail painting. You've captured the worn look they had. -JS

Nick_Karatzides
my idea was to build a small scene, showing the first solo flight of a student pilot.........so that's why there is a guy in the front seat ! make some research to find some interesting pics of this...but nothing...so if someone has something interesting....that would be great ! I believe that there are no mirrors mounted on the T-2's windshield. To be accurate, there are two mirrors placed at 12 'clock and 2 o'clock possitions, mounted on the moving part of canopy. Feel free to click on the left thumbnail and have a look on Mathias Leischner picture, already found into the Twobobs CD you also have. Also, click on the center thumbnail to enlarge Kostas D. Pantios picture, shows the mirror possition. By clicking on the right thumbnail you can have an idea of the small diorama scene you are planing.
