Also at the original canopy I've added some styrene detailing and the ventilation pipe

The canopy was painted with the interior colour

And the aft fuselage was prepared with a black glossy coat for Alclad paints

What are you using for the colors and wash?

Enamels and acrylics?

For colors I use both acrilics and enamels.

The wash is custom made

- dark and maroon pigments (powder)

- some alchool not too much

- water

- dish washer solution and some dissolved soap

That's the formula

Thanks for the pic! Did a little research and it looks like those parts are really painted green, but when operational, the green gets covered with grease and is unnoticable!

Yeap you are right....it turns smoky and dark....and the heat resistent green paint goes off
