I have done some basic detailing to the interior And some simple dry brush weathering Then, got the kit together and started the painting process 1. cleaned the kit with rubbing alcohol 2. primed with Alcad 3. then Aluminum Alcad 4. Future 5. Salt weathering 6. MM Acrylic Interior black and grey 7. B-17 guy Posted March 21, 2010 Share Posted March 21, 2010 Look's like way too much salt for starters, secondly, too much water. I think you are gonna have way to many big patches of no camo paint. I'd wipes off all that salt and start over, be more suttle with the salt. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

ian lanc Posted April 4, 2010 Share Posted April 4, 2010 Looks like your silver was a Celullose based paint and the next layer of paint was enamel or synthetic and had a chemical reaction the only remindy for this is the strip the whole paint back to bare plastic and start again, using only one brand of paints. The cracking will show through any layers of paint so it does need to come off. The salt chipping will be way out of line with a real Lancaster ian. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
