And some simple dry brush weathering

Then, got the kit together and started the painting process

1. cleaned the kit with rubbing alcohol

2. primed with Alcad

3. then Aluminum Alcad

4. Future

5. Salt weathering

6. MM Acrylic Interior black and grey

7. Paint problem which would look good on the right kit

Images are attached

Look's like way too much salt for starters, secondly, too much water. I think you are gonna have way to many big patches of no camo paint. I'd wipes off all that salt and start over, be more suttle with the salt.

Thanks B-17 guy, that was the first application of salt before letting it dry and then picking some off. I am going to take off more of the salt and try repainting. Just do not want to get the same thing happening again

Looks like your silver was a Celullose based paint and the next layer of paint was enamel or synthetic and had a chemical

reaction the only remindy for this is the strip the whole paint back to bare plastic and start again, using only one brand of paints.

The cracking will show through any layers of paint so it does need to come off.

The salt chipping will be way out of line with a real Lancaster
