longmc
Very cool! I'm pleased Kinetic has decided to get away from "mainstream" aircraft and hit the lesser covered subjects. I think you've found your niche!

Father Jack
It is in 1/48 scale. Hello Raymond, You have there a Mirage 2000B with MICA missiles (only seen on 2000-5, -5Mk2 and -9) The D, -5, -5 Mk2 and -9 Mirage 2000's have no pitot tube on the radome. Moreover, the -D model has chaff/flare launchers on the spine. HTH, S. Edited May 25, 2010 by Father Jack
Matt Roberts
The canopy details look impressive - if injected (the handles and mirrors) And it is across the Atlantic now on Britmodeler (from my keyboard in Columbus!) Edited May 25, 2010 by Matt Roberts
dams301
Hello everyone, Good to see a new 2000D to 1/48th. However, there is some error for a 2000D, it lacks the "lance leurre de crête" at the base of the fin, there are three antennas on drift too and shape of the antenna behind the cockpit is wrong. The pitot tube on the tip is missing on this version of 2000. http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-phot...4/5/1640548.jpg If I allow these remarks, it is simply because I love this plane and it would be a shame to miss In any case, it is good news to see this model coming to 1/48th (and even more if she goes to 1/72th ) Damien Bonjour àtous,Bonne nouvelle que de voir un 2000D au 1/48e. May 25, 2010 by Albert Moore Airliners.net copyright policy
Stef (#6)
Hello Raymond,You have there a Mirage 2000B with MICA missiles (only seen on 2000-5, -5Mk2 and -9) The D, -5, -5 Mk2 and -9 Mirage 2000's have no pitot tube on the radome. HTH, S. hello Raymond, Great news about the Mirage, you can certainly count me for one or txwo copies at least. I know the image is just a CAD rendition but I would like to put the stress on the fuselage spine/chaff dispenser which is the major shape diffculty/issue of this type. The shape is rather complex, more anyway than what is depicted on this rendition. I have several pics home (i'm in the office right now) I can forward you to illustrate what I'm talking about. Best regards Stef (#6)
Laurent
This CAD view is isometric ? It's just that the parachute fairing and the nozzle look enormous.
mario krijan
Raymond, Why not Su-27?
Boman
Include a couple of seated pilots in the cockpit also, and we have a certain home run
thegoodsgt
Raymond, Why not Su-27?g: I would guess because the Academy Su-27 kit is widely available. It's probably more profitable to capitalize on an underserved subject. But I'm just speculating.
Collin
How about a 1/32 Mirage 2000-5F. :) ATIS...still waiting for someone to produce that one.
Koen L
There are some Mirage 2000-experts on this forum so hopefully the issues will be sorted as it would be good to have a new family of Mirage 2000 kits! Shame about all the people treating this topic as some kind of wishlist though. Koen
Matt Roberts
Now lets be useful and get Raymond any info he may ask for to make this kit everything both he and us want it to be. As for a 32nd - remember Song had hinted at a Mir-xx a while back from Trumpy, no idea what Mirage it could be though.
CreepyGuy
I am definately in for at least 1.... I love the Mirage 2000 series and can not wait until this is available!

Fuji
Guys, I'm only going to say this once. Hold your horses. You're only seeing one of the CAD drawings and one of the early ones. Read into that what you will.
