Superheat
This kit has generated a lot of buzz in the past, but I haven't seen any mention or comment since these went up on Radek's site: The detail looks beautiful! Accuracy? Remains to be seen. Laurent? Cheers, Tom
Piotrek.S.
Niceee, me want it much. Any photos of spure with wings? Two sets of MLG, two sets of front whell bay. Combo of low and high Floggers in one box?
Jennings
Sigh... and still no 1/48...
ranakoshgelam
i wonder if theyre going to introduce a mig-
janman
It certainly looks good, even the panel lines would seem to be quite correct. I didn't do any comparisons with photos or drawings, this is just my overall impression. Hopefully we'll see more soon.
Laurent
Thanks for the links Tom. Laurent? Nope. Commenting about shape accuracy when the parts are still on the sprues is a little silly to me. I wonder how the front fuselage looks (nose, canopy, intakes) when the parts are assembled. I'll probably buy the kit but wonder if the P boxing will have the parts to build a Soviet MLD. Edited November 11, 2010 by Laurent
Raymond
oh schweet! im pretty shure the source molds are zvezda, so as laurent said: caopy nose, indakes will need to be assembled
janman
Man, I really would like to see more photos. More and with better resolution. These make the details (engraved lines and rivets) look a bit soft. Hopefully they are not that.
Laurent
im pretty shure the source molds are zvezda Perhaps yes but at least the windscreen doesn't "go into the fuselage" like in the Zvezda... ... so the RV Resin is a lot better in this area but I wonder how it'll compare with Zvezda + Neomega correction set. janman
I don't know about the Zvezda+Neomega combo, but I know there are kits that I don't get any kicks from and Zvezda Flogger certainly was one of them. You're welcome, Berkut! I'm glad it found a new home. :D In that respect this one seems a lot more promising right from the start. For a final verdict we need more photos though. johnsan
Sigh... and still no 1/48... You say that like it's a bad thing.
flanker
o the RV Resin is a lot better in this area but I wonder how it'll compare with Zvezda + Neomega correction set. You are probably thinking on Zvezda +Prop&Jet correction(there is no Neomega correction) Hope that we will see neomega UB conversion in future
dragan_mig31
is there any release date on this one?
Laurent
You are probably thinking on Zvezda +Prop&Jet correction(there is no Neomega correction)Hope that we will see neomega UB conversion in future Yes you're right. My mistake.
joachim
Hope that we will see neomega UB conversion in future otherwise you can use this set; http://www.aviationmegastore.com/mikoyan-m...0&art=92647
Jennings
You say that like it's a bad thing. 1/72 is wonderful, and having them in 1/48 wouldn't take anything away from teenie scale folks. We have them in 1/32 and 1/72, but still no sign of any in 1/

MiG31
1/72 is wonderful, and having them in 1/48 wouldn't take anything away from teenie scale folks. It would if it was a subject that was only available in 1:48.
Laurent
In that respect this one seems a lot more promising right from the start. I hope it will be promising right to the end. Retail price: 26.50 euros. I'll let you buy it first Edited November 11, 2010 by Laurent
Dmanton300
Sigh... and still no 1/48... I reckon Hobby Boss, within twelve months. Jury's out on whether the 72nd will be from them or Trumpeter badged. But they're coming I reckon.
martinBK
Poor looking KM1 seat but a Mig-23 is really welcome.
Berkut
You're welcome, Berkut! I'm glad it found a new home. :D It will be cannibalized. :P Man i would love if Zvezda did MiG-23 with their current standards...Imagine... dragan_mig31
Man for 25+ euros a kit I would still buy the old zvezda kit and built it as it is.Too much for 1:72.

flanker
Well it is not much if it is accurate and if you do not need to buy any correction set but i am not so optimisitc that this is so accurate.. And if they used some other draws than Burdin draws there will be problems  http://www.aviapress.com/viewonekit.htm?OTH-
