Janissary
Together with my other eagles: Here is my flimsy photobooth. Whatever I do I cannot get the excellent pics I see others post here. I may need a new camera (I am using a Canon A620), more lights, or better backdrops:
ChippyWho
Mouth opens & closes...no sound comes! LOVE it, especially the super-tight paintwork... do I dare try that freaky Rhino centenary patchwork scheme now? My link Not sure I even know where it comes from: looks like the Mach Altus 'Crusaders' emblem on the tail -aren't they 'Werewolves' now? (Did something really stupid here: occasionally forget where some images I get sent originate from...) Edited October 8, 2011 by ChippyWho Copyrighted photo from Airliners.net removed. Link to the photo left in place.
Ken Middleton
WOW!! Incredible paint work! Hmm, I don't remember seeing your Kadena Eagle before Edited September 3, 2011 by Ken Middleton

Berkut
This is one of the best models i have ever seen. Fantastic sharp looking. You asked about the dust issue in your thread, i recommend to invest into micromesh. It is sanding paper, but super fine, up to 12 000.
EagleAviation
The finishing is simply amazing! I don't see any problems with your photos. They look great.
Janissary
Thank you guys, I very much appreciate your feedback. Berkut, thanks for the pointer. I have been hearing about that for a while, I guess I should get one set. Ken, that Kadena eagle was my first model I built (in 2006) after my childhood. I hear people saying you should hold on to your first model. It is an absolute disaster (feels like sandpaper when you touch it) but it reminds me how much fun I had after coming back to the hobby 14 years later. It might be a good gauge to show how you've progressed to an outstanding modeler...the 2 foreground Eagles in that group shot attest to that
Jinro
Nice paintjob. Also nice work on that JASDF Aggressor that's in the middle. If I may ask, what kit was that Aggressor?

I'm guessing it's not a common kit? I managed to find a Hasegawa 1/72 F-15J Aggressor (tail # 92-8912) but I didn't do as well as I had hoped on it--those nozzles were a royal pain. dylan
wow awesome eagle!! as for getting better pictures I found that ditching the light tent and just using bare CFL bulbs was the answer. with the lights behind and above the camera as much as possible. hth Dylan
Shawn M
looks spot on! I see them go up for test flights in that semi naked scheme during the week.

Crazy Snap Captain
Brilliant work...amazing stuff!!! The paint work is just unbelievable. How long did this take to build?
Diego Quijano
Very interesting build, and well executed too. Congrats, Jamissary. Q
Janissary
Thank you very much everybody! I am really glad that you liked it. I started it late April and finished it last week. There was one month I was away, so it took a little over 3 months. I have to say Revell made a pretty nice kit to work with.
gonzalo
You did a beautiful build! Very nice indeed. The only thing is if the aircraft is not painted and looks like it is out of the factory, why are the squadron markings painted on?
