KursadA
With the Osprey now in widespread service, I have been noticing more and more colorful Osprey schemes lately. The only decal sheet we had was the one from Flying Leathernecks, which has long been OOP. The Italeri 1/48 kit is still easily available, and I decided to work on a new decal sheet which will cover some of the newer MV-22 schemes and at least one CV-22. The only draft I have done so far is the VMM-163 color bird (BuNo 168011), but BuNos. 166736, 168019, 168025 and 168220 now have very interesting tail schemes and I will try to cover as many as possible. With all the stuff I have promised for December (AV-8A, A-10C, Polish MiG-29s etc.), I don't think this can be a December release. But I will try to release it within a couple of months if I can. When I started this project, the news about the new 1/72 MV-22 Osprey from Hasegawa was not yet made public. I will eventually scale this down to 1/72 once the Hasegawa kit is on the shelves. skyhawk174
Hey Kursad Are you adverse to putting on a "what-may-be" on the sheet? The reason I ask is that Bell is proposing to the Canadian Government the V-22 for the Search and Rescue roll. They have painted up one in the yellow scheme with lots of red panels. The go fast stripe is also there. Looks great. I can get you a couple of pics as well as a drawing if that would help you visualize it. KursadA
I saw the speculative Canadian SAR markings for the Osprey and they sure look interesting. But I think I will stick to real USMC / USAF Ospreys first, there are quite a few interesting tail markings and I would like to do them in time for the new Hasegawa kit. I hope Canada chooses the Osprey though, that scheme will look excellent if it becomes real.

KursadA
I postponed this for the time being, but I won't rule out a future sheet.
