MartM
Hi all, As the title says I'm looking for cockpit pics of the AH-64D, looked all over the www couldn't find any :bandhead2:/>/>/>/>/> Probably my fault.... :dontknow:/>/>/>/>/> Anybody got some and wants to share!?? Thanks Rudi Hi Rudi. I would be surprised if you found many open-source photos of current AH-64D crew-stations due to security concerns about current operations. For the sake of a scale model, in the D variant, the Pilots station is much the same as an A model, in terms of layout of the Multi-Function Displays and instruments. The major alterations to the cockpits are most visible in the CPG (fwd) station with the introduction of the MTADS sensors, so the old ORT Optical Relay Tube sight with eyepiece is replaced by another electronic display... http://www.lockheedmartin.com/us/products/TADSElectronicDisplayControl.html The TADS/PNVS sensors also look somewhat different... http://www.lockheedmartin.com/us/products/Arrowhead.html There are variations in the layout of some control panels and some additional fittings depending on what modifications are fitted to individual aircraft, ie. stowage for personal weapons, ect and on what nations '64D version you wish to model. I hope that is some help to you. (And to whom it may concern, the above links are freely available, open-source commercial data)
rotorwash
Rudi, These pics are from an AH-64D Black II bird at Ft. Rucker in 2011. I took them at my dad's reunion. It'll take a few posts to get them all in, but they should get you what you need. Ray Copilot/Gunner Edited March 2, 2013 by rotorwash
