Kellerassel
Hi there, Here I show you a simple model, which was built without additional parts. I made the following yourself: - Aircraft engraved completely - Revised seat and provided with various small parts - Canopy inside with mirror and other small parts - The extension of the vertical stabilizer, which the already beautiful aircraft gives an even more beautiful shape and improves the directional stability of the original. - The covers of the intakes. Here I have chosen the easier option, also because it does not disturb the shape of the aircraft. The plane belongs to Esquadron de Defensa 401 of the Mexican Air Force. Based in Santa Lucia. The Jet has got a tiger for the 20th anniversary. The rocket pods are from a AH-1 Cobra helicopter and visually fit very well to it. Kellerassel
The flags are from Tally Ho and the decals are from Aztek. On this way, i have taken the pictures. It´s not mexico, it`s bavaria. :whistle:/>/>/> That`s it. I have built nine months and I hope you like the pictures. It is my third model, which I have painted with an airbrush. @ BeeJee Thank you :wave:/>/> Dieter Edited July 26, 2013 by Kellerassel

phantomdriver
I'd loved to have seen the WIP...........
Janissary
Looks fantastic! Very well done. Can you let us know what paints (brand and number) did you use? I am especially interested in the brown. I want to say Gunze H-310 but it looks lighter. Yours is just the right tone I want to have for one of my builds.
Kellerassel
Hello, thank you again for your Compliments. I'd loved to have seen the WIP........... I suspect you mean "work in progress"? I have only two pictures. So it looked like. Unfortunately these are the only pictures of this time. @Janissary I´m sorry. The built was in 2009 and i don`t know , which colours i used. It was Gunze, yes. The brown was mixed - that`s only what i knew. I can give you the FS numbers, from the Decalplan. FS 34079 Dark Green FS 34102 Medium Green FS 30279 Dark Tan I always forget to write down what colors I mix. I'm sorry that I can not help you further. Dieter

Der Grüne Punkt
The best F-5 I have ever seen, congrats mate!, I about to tackle an old ESCI F-5 but as a Brazilian bird and you build is very inspirational!
Ruud
WOW. What a great model of a FAM F-5E. Well done! (i have the sheet in 1/72 and am waiting for a decent Tiger to come along still).
Kellerassel
Thank you very much. If it was not so much work with the engraving, I would still build an F-5 in 1:32. It's a nice little jet. :wave:/> Dieter
scotthldr
Absolutely stunning, what figures did you use for the groundcrew especially the sleeping one?
Kellerassel
Hello, the figures are all from Miniart - "German tank crew at work" - 1:35 - No. 35010. I still have it changed. :wave:/>/> Dieter
