Wow José, excellent work !

Love the display and in particular, the load out ... Call me ignorant but I had never seen the AIM-120s mounted like that on a SHar ... Again, just a beautiful model ... :clap2:

About panel lines...

maybe they are too dark in 1:1 scale too.

About the panel lines at the kokarde...

Maybe you can see them in these pictures but I'm sure you can see them better in my living room.

Finally about the missiles:

Maybe I've lost "my hand"...

As modeler and real pilot (Yeah! Lynx Pilot) I am happy with my model and I think it is beautiful in my living room but I appreciate and respect all your critics and I promise to you that my next model will be better!

Thanks for your time looking at my model and all points noted by you!

Cheers

José, please know my comment about the AIM-120s mounted that way was not a criticism. Just an observation on my part.

Thanks for posting the photos, I really hadn't seen that beforebefore and I think it looks really cool ... I know I'd be proud to display thi model ...

@ Janne,

Many thanks, mate!

@ Gregg,

No worries at all, buddy!

We always have something to learn and to teach to ourselves!

I'm not a competitive person so I quite comfortable with constructive critics and answer all kind of doubts!

Thanks guys!

I saw your build and it was raw. Can you please tell me how you did those lights again?

Ace,

First of all... sorry for my late answer.

I used this "cloth clip" but any piece of clear plastic sprue should work.

DSC03388.jpg

I cut two pieces which could fit in the space then I drilled them and dropped silver paint inside using a needle. So I glued them with super glue.

To get in shape I used this 4 grit nail sanding block (previously stolen from my wife):

But again, the Squadron 3 grit sanding stick or anyone similar will work.

Finally I painted them using "permanent pens":

Hope it can help you... any issues? Give me a shout! ;)/>

Thanks Polo and pookie.

@pookie,

The fuselage was painted with Gunze Mr. Color C308 and the radome with C305... maybe a little bit of "poetic license" but looks ok for me! ;)

Love your SHAR Motta, including the panel lines, but Arne does have a point with regards to the missiles. I would think that usually, only inert missiles would get that dirty. Live ones, I presume, would be stored in crates, lovingly cared for, mounted carefully just prior to a mission and mostly offloaded during or shortly afterwards. Since a pinwash is really the only thing feasible to make a missile's fins stand out more, it was probably a good choice to apply it, but maybe you just left a little too much on there. I any case, I would be proud to have mine come out looking like this one.
