GreyGhost
It looks like a F-4D to me too. -Gregg
Exhausted
Looks like an -E to me. The picture is very unclear but the nose looks too long for a -D.

ST0RM
My money is it's an E. The Deltas are down south along the south/east coast. Doubt they'd move them just to bomb ISIS. -Jeff
gonzalo
I believe it is an E also.
GreyGhost
Yeah, I was looking on my phone earlier, on my tab, I can see that its an F-4E too. -Gregg
TaiidanTomcat
Wait until they break out the mighty Tomcat (praise be upon it) and end this whole thing in one sortie.
Janissary
….. out the mighty Tomcat (praise be upon it) and end ……. I keep reading this and can't stop chuckling! My wife asks me what's going on :) Well done!

I thought Turkey occasionally decides to bomb the Kurds (you know, the same folks that we are trying to protect from ISIS). Presumably they would also be using F-4's for this task. Kevan Vogler
S. Korea, Greece, Turkey, Israel.... all current F-4 users.... I thought Israel retired their last Phantoms around 2004 or 2005. My understanding is that, outside of Iran obviously, the remaining Phantom users are Greece, Japan, Turkey and South Korea.

I'm surprised that Japan is still a user though.
