jibou
Hi Here is a diorama i've recently completed. The AH-1W is the Revell/italeri model, the Foden 6X6 recovery truck as well as the trailer are made from scratch. I'll try to make better pictures (with more light) Best regards Jean-Baptiste
jochemp
Whoa... neat job mate, very, very good detailing. The road and surface looks amazing. Tell us about the story of this recovery.
salvador001
Wow, im out of words. That diorama is spectacular, very realistic. The cobra and the truck looks like the real deal, wish i could do that. Congratulations. Rod.
jibou
Hi I've find some pictures browsing on the web, it seems that the scene took place in Iraq. Curioulsy the cobra is loaded on the trailer with full weapon load (hellfire and un fired Tow missiles). I've identified the wrecker as a british Foden 6x6, the trailer is a Craven and the truck that initially push the trailer is a Seddon Atkinson Best regards Jean-Baptiste
skyhawk174
Excuse me, did I read right, truck and trailer from scratch????? Wow, great, great work. I think that is what us 1/48 modellers are missing, more support vehicles in 1/48th. Or even some more modern armour in 1/48th. Looking forward to some more photos and even better if you have it, some under construction pics. Now that would be great. Some serious skills you have there Jean-Baptiste. Well at least a little easier to scratch build I think. When you said Revell/Italeri I assumed it was 1/48th. Wow, wow again. Edited June 11, 2015 by skyhawk174
