Rafael Winter
Hi guys... what other AM accessories are you using? i'm interested to know where you'll find the decals for the squadron markings. loftycomfort, I´m using : - Zactoman canopy - Zactoman nose - Zactoman intakes ( I hope so... waiting for release ) - Aires cockpit - Black Box cockpit ( for KM-36 seat ) - Aires exhaust nozzles - Aires wheel bay - eduards exterior, interior, and ejection seat details ( I bought but I don´t know if They are really necessary ) - Linden Hill complete stencils - contact resine wheel and, if nobody release a decal artwork for ukraine flanker ( and I can´t understand why they still weren´t release ), I will make them... geedubelyer and joachim, thanks for words... I´ve sure that I will need your help.... <_< cheers Rafael Winter

skuki
Hi skuki... i´m tjinking about...I saw your stunning job on your cockpit and start to think about it... How do you paint your cockpit.... You made a realistic job on it...? Rafael Thanks Rafael, well there are no special tehniques, I sprayed all parts in matt black (except ins panel), and then finely airbrushed the cockpit colour, then wash, and at the end drybrush to highlight some areas. I look forward seeing your build :D
Rafael Winter
Thanks guys... today I start with the aires seat, skuki was right about the seat belts and other details on the aires k-36. I have to scratchbuilt some fine detalis in the seat, cause they wasn´t there . ( I think that I broke them) Next I will follow skuki paint steps... :D I will take some pics ... Rafael Winter BTW 1 : maybe HI-Decal will do the Ukranian Flanker ... at 1/32 !!!????? BTW 2 : AFM have a nice pic of the Blue 69 Su-27 UB in splinter scheme (...for trumpeter Su-27UB 1/32 maybe :) )
Rafael Winter
So... a very slow progress... This is my seat.... I start it today.... before paint de cushions and seat belts, I saw a lot of pics, some progress jobs and realize that there isn´t a pattern for colors... I saw olive drab, black, BLUE.... :D I found a pic :D that show Ukranian Flanker #08 seat, and, the cushions were a very light gray, seat belts a darker gray with tan ( i think )... BTW: the colors behind the seat are my options for splinter scheme ( one of them... ) pic just after start the paint job...

skuki
Nice to see that you decided to use aires seat. It looks perfet so far. If I can remember right each seatbelt has about 12 or 13 pe parts, but it is worth at the end. Keep us posted.
