  1. Thanks for the reply, Andre. Actually I checked from your list and found that the Squadron is to be 357 FS and not 358. That's a dragon, and it fits in perfectly with the shield: http://www.tankkiller.com/squadrons/357/357tfts.html Okay. That means I'm actually close. I can always use that for the decals. It would have been easier if Twobobs did them though. :woot:
  2. Okay. Guess it's better to know than to keep working on the options knowing there could be something out there. Advantage: Markings are all black. They can be done on a printer. Dis-advantage: I haven't got a clue what they are. The shield on "my" tail, is that the USAF shield? Or is there a Squadron motto underneath? I guess that's a wolf on the yellow tail-top and then the wolf is repeated on the fuselage shield. Would the wolf-shield be repeated on the other side? Or is there a group shield there? From what I understand the aircraft is from the 355 Tactical Fighter Wing. Does that win
  3. I have a friend who flew the A-10A in October 96. He's a test pilot and only flew it on one occasion. I'd like to make a desktop model for him. The plane carried the reg 79-0202 and flew out of Davis-Monthan. So i recon we're talking about this one: http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Air/F...bolt/0725032/L/ Only at that time it looked something like this: http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Air/F...bolt/0355547/L/ I have found these decals from Superscale: http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=SS480964&PIC_NO=1 But they don't really seem to be a matchup. Don't know much about
  4. Harold, yes please. And if needed I live three minutes from the museum at Sola, Stavanger, and do all the measurements you want as well. High res pics? No prob. Yes please yes please. To go with the decals from Vingtor: http://www.vingtor.net/olddecals.html Regards, Kyrre
  5. Pics from a couple of years ago. Taken at Bodø in bad weather
  6. Oh, but it wasn't me. It was a ... friend. :-D Actually the Brits that got arrested were warned several times but ignored the warnings and, apparently after a week or so, were booked for it. Being a thorough Brit planespotter is not the same as taking a few pics of F-16s. Apparently. But one should always be careful. Yup.
  7. Was this you then, Jeff? Pic was taken from the beach below Sternes on the 5th this month.
  8. Some bonus heatblurred distance ordnance pics And a wee Texan II
  9. Thanks. I ... ehrm ... he didn't have to hide that much, but a little church and some bushes in the approach-sector were very convenient.
  10. Someone I know spent some time around Souda AFB this summer, hiding in the bushes and taking a few pics of what was there. That someone was quite pleased with the outcome since he's just bought the new Hasegawa kit. Some heatblur but that's part of the game I guess.
  11. Don't have much to add except a few pics I've taken that might be helpful for those working on their spines
  12. Some pics taken a week or two ago, hope they can be of assistance
  13. Desperate? Buy two kits. Graft. Bob's your very close relative. K
  14. If I understand you correctly the most important thing for you is to build a Sea Blue machine. With that -3 cowling you are good to go building an all blue TMB-3. The only other (barely) visible difference would be the instrument panel, but if I'm not much mistaken it's included in the clear sprue.
