Hi guys This is my revell Tornado ERC. The kit comes with decals for the tiger scheme but they are quit hard to put on. So I sprayed the whole thing in dark grey for the stripes. Than I used maskol and a brush to mask the tiger stripes (forgot to take a picture of this step). After that I preshaded the whole thing with white. Than I airbrushed the grey on And when the maskol is removed the stripes show up. The paint job suffered from some overspray so I have to clean that up before I move on. Gerd :D

Hi guys Since I started visiting the ARC I have been looking for Future floor wax. I live in the Netherlands and a red on the ARC that I had to go for “Johnsons Parket Plus†for wooden floors. But this stuff is just matt, I can’t get a gloss finish with it and dipping canopies in it is a very bad idea. So I bought the only other Jonsons product on the market, their linoleum floor wax. But this is nothing better. It is a little glossier but way to cloudy for serious canopy dipping. Is their another alternative for really clear future in the Netherlands? Or maybe in Germany o

Hi I use a gasmask for airbrushing for a wile now. I was wondering which kind of mask and filters you guys use. How many times do you replace the filter? The filter I use is brown, it says it is for: Organic vapours, solvents with a boiling point of > 65 C. is this the right one to use for airbrushing acrylics and enamels? Gerd B)

I use Magic Color Quasar black artistic airbrush ink with 90% water for pre- and post-shading with very good results. It’s non-toxic, no cleaning required and easy to use. I’m thinking about getting rid of all those acrylics and enamels and mixing my own colors from water based airbrush ink and paint. Gerd I post shaded and painted the black in this camo scheme with airbrush ink.
