  1. hello ! many, many thanks for your great help ! these pics are just perfect ! Thanks also for the pit pick, but my intention is to depict the plane in a "pilotable" configauration, I mean with the front seat in, and only the back seat armor ( Sorry for my poor english, I mean with no cushions or chute pack ), and this is the reference I still miss here's a pick of the pit configuration I'll try to make: I guess there are no fabric parts left on the back seat ? A safety pin seems to be on though, so the system must be live though ? Would you put an ox bottle on the seat ? After many re
  2. Hello and many thanks to all for posting all these pics. Actually, a close up of the ventral sensor would be great ! I'm considering displaying this plane before the unmanned config, including back seat without the chute and cushion packs as often seen on QF-4s, and I'm looking for a plan of the Mk7 naked structure. the "B" plan could be this plane: could tell me if some decal exist for it ? I'll be building in 1:32 but 1:48 sheet would be OK: I just need the flat drawing to make upscaled masks. ( pictures coming from: http://cr463.com/index.htm ) many thanks again I'll be able to s
  3. Hello Roger Thank a lot ! that's a great thread link ! These pics will be great help ! all the best Fanch
  4. Hi Larry I hadnt picked this one ! thanks much for your help ! nice walkarounds ! cheers Fanch
  5. Hello I'm calling the Phantom experts for help ! I'm looking for a walkaround about the QF-4E/G, especially the undersurface additions. Thanks a lot Fancherello.
  6. Hi Chris ! Looooovely work ! I'll be in for your set as well ! :D Fanch
  7. hello here are pics of the Aires burner cans: I think they are really worth buying as they are a real improvement compared to the original parts. I didnt use Aires wheel wells as they dont provide any detail for the maing gear legs wells. So I decided to detail them on my own, including the weel wells. HTH Fanch Fanch
  8. Hi Chris I'm glad you liked the article ! But don't thank me for the review, your work really deserves them. congrats again for your Flanker parts ! Fanch
  9. Hello APUMAN Thank you ! I'm glad you like my Flanker If you're facing problems to adapt CAM seat, Aires is going to release a Flanker seat with molded harness in their Quickboost range. It will be based on the non-harness seat, I guess, so no problem to drop it in your Aires cockpit. Kind regards Fanch
  10. hi thank you guys ! I'm glad you like it ! The cockpit has been painted with Gunze RLM65 as a bse color THa camo has been done with Mr Kit acrylics WW1 light french blue and WW1 US light grey, the faded dark blue is Xtracrilics Azure blue, and the touch ups were done with a miw of Azure blue and German blue ( RLM23 ? )... plus many other colors for post shading tones ! I used the BBox pit as I started this build just when it was released, and had to do several breaks during the building process, waiting for Chris' parts ( which were truly great to use and bringing great result with minimum
  11. hi Chris I havent seen the 126 yet, but here's a little teaser
  12. Chris you're killing me ! I have to build another Flanker now ! kind regards Fanch ( have a look at TMMI #126 :D )
  13. and does anyone know if the avionics bay which opens down below the aft fuselage could be opened on the model ? it could be an interesting thing to detail as well no ? Fanch
  14. hi there ! the main gear door looks rather thick and a bit strange ( I'm wondering if it's not the left one put on the right side ! ) Something could be done here as these doors and their actuating systems are quite visible on this plane. maybe there could be work to be done on the wingfold system ( though not complete on the picture, I guess ) or around the airbrakes area or access ladders ? even better: a KA-6D conversion kind regards Fanch'
