  1. Guys, awesome answers! Thanks a lot to all for your time! Pablo in London, ON
  2. Has anyone used distilled water to spray Tamiya paints? I have read most or almost everybody used either isopropyl alcohol or Tamiya thinner. Now, the bottles read Water Soluble. Does it mean then I can use distilled water to thin it? Thanks! Pablo
  3. Hello I am working on the Academy kit, heavily modifying the nose for the correct Recco version in which Saint Ex dissapeared. Any guess about the color of those French Lightnings? I have seen paintings in natural metal, others in PR Blue (what FS color would it be?)... Thanks Pablo
  4. GOT IT! ANY SPECIAL RATIO YOU USE? DOES IT EVENTUALLY CLOGG OR IT WORKS FINE ALL THE WAY? PABLO
  5. LOOKS LIKE I HAVE FOUND A RETAILER HERE IN LONDON THAT CARRIES THIS PRODUCT. WHAT RATIO DO YOU USE? ANY PROBLEM WITH PEELING? FOR HOW LONG DO YOU LEAVE THE PAINT ALONE (TO DRY)? THANKS PABLO
  6. GREAT! ACCORDING TO THEIR WEBSITE, I HAVE FOUND TWO RETAILERS THAT KEEP THEIR LINE OF PRODUCTS HERE IN LONDON,ON THANKS PABLO
  7. THANKS! SO WHERE DID YOU BUY/FIND THIS FLOWAID? AT LEAST I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE IT A TRY... PABLO
  8. I have recently changed from Enamels to Acrylic (smell, water, less fire risk, etc). Problem that I have is that the nose of the airbrush (Badger) keeps on clogging and then, even after cleaning it with mineral thinner (works fine for some minutes) it starts to clogg again. So I have read that some retardants can be used to prevent this from happening. Someone suggested in one of the postings that there are products at Michael's and other hobby/arts shops in Canada. I went to Michael's and they offered a type of thick product (which is not what I was expecting, so I did not buy it) Question
