  1. well its kind of funny.. I live just outside of Daytona Beach, FL, and the airport is the Deland Airport. It was a Navy Air training base from 1942 to 1945. They trained mainly SBD pilots, along with Helldivers. The history os very interesting in deed. This "museum" if you can even call it that is VERY VERY small.. it in fact was at one time the Cheif of securities house!!!   2. Hey guys.. just wanted to put the message out there that we here at our local airport recieved a F-14B from VF-101, for our Naval Museum. After they flew it in and parked it, they took out the engines, and avionics, and I took the time to take detail pics, for reference, I know that we have several "walkarounds" here on ARC, but if I maybe have a pic that someone is looking for on the F-14B, or VF-101, drop me a email, and I will email them out.
